A man facing 26 counts of drug trafficking and possession charges will be tried in Richmond Provincial Court early next year.
According to court records, charges were laid against Manoj Renato Singh earlier this year in February for offences that allegedly took place between 2018 and 2019.
Singh is alleged to have trafficked fentanyl, cocaine and heroin in 17 counts spanning from October 2018 to January 2019.
He was also charged with nine counts of possessing controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking on Feb. 28, 2019. The controlled substances in question allegedly include cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl, heroin, methylphenidate pills, MDMA, oxycodone pills and carfentanil.
Singh appeared in Richmond Provincial Court for a fix date hearing last Tuesday (Dec. 5) and is due back in court on Jan. 9 for a pre-trial conference.
He will then return on Feb. 1 and 2 for a voir-dire hearing with a four-day trial scheduled to start on Feb. 26.
