Steveston Folk Guild presents Jack and May

The duo of Jack and May, described in one review as "folk-ishly funny", brings a unique brand of humour to the stage with original songs and some well-chosen cover tunes, and the playful banter between the real-life couple adds to the fun. Jack and May's music also touches on the serious side of life and they even throw in a good ol' original travellin' ditty just to round things out. In their home town of Victoria, B.C., they have run an Open Mic for over two years, offering stage time to more than 200 different musicians. Tickets are $8 at the door and the show begins at 7: 30 p.m.
