Fire crews responded to a car fire Thursday morning in the Massey Tunnel, which was subsequently closed to traffic in both directions for a short time.
The fire was reported to be in one of the northbound lanes.
There's no word yet from officials on whether or not there are any injuries.
Traffic was re-opened in both directions around 7:15 a.m.
Heavy congestion and delays were expected and DriveBC recommended commuters take alternate routes.
