A car on fire on Gilbert Road sent a plume of black smoke into the sky on Sunday evening, visible a couple kilometres away.
Both Richmond Fire-Rescue and the RCMP were on scene at the blaze, and the fire was quickly extinguished by fire crews.
The car was in a parking lot in the 12000 block of Gilbert Road at the time of the blaze.
The fire was determined to be accidental.
