Steveston-London secondary is reporting a COVID-19 exposure for the second time.
A letter was sent out to parents on Thursday, informing them of the exposure.
The school said that it would not be providing specific details about the exposure – including when it occurred – due to privacy reasons.
Vancouver Coastal Health has contacted anyone identified as a close contact and has required them to self-isolate.
“At this time, there is no evidence to suggest there has been any exposure to the wider staff or student community,” the letter reads.
Areas of the school that may have been affected by the exposure have been deep cleaned, the letter states.
This is the second time that Steveston London has reported a COVID-19 exposure. Families were notified of the first exposure in a letter sent out on Oct. 14.
