COVID-19 outbreaks declared at 2 Richmond long-term care homes

COVID-19 outbreaks have been declared at two long-term care homes in Richmond. According to Vancouver Coastal Health, restrictions to contain the spread of the virus were put in place at Fraserview Intermediate Care Lodge on Nov.

COVID-19 outbreaks have been declared at two long-term care homes in Richmond.

According to Vancouver Coastal Health, restrictions to contain the spread of the virus were put in place at Fraserview Intermediate Care Lodge on Nov. 11, and at Pinegrove Place on Nov. 4.

The outbreak at Pinegrove is on the first floor of the facility, according to VCH. 

The Richmond News has reached out to the health authority for more information about the two outbreaks.

Meanwhile, the restrictions at Hamilton Village Care Home, where an outbreak was declared on Oct. 29, were lifted Nov. 10.
