Audiences for the latest Dark Knight movie in Richmond remain strong, despite last weeks shooting tragedy in Colorado, according to Cineplex.
Cineplex issued a statement Friday, hours after the theatre massacre in Aurora, where alleged gunman James Holmes killed 12 and wounded 59 during the midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises.
We are shocked and saddened by last nights tragedy ... while we believe this was an isolated incident, we have security measures in place for our upcoming shows, the company statement read.
Cineplex, however, has a long standing policy not to discuss security measures.
