Did you lose a gold-coloured Chinese statue in Richmond?

Richmond RCMP are searching for the owner of a statue found in a Richmond parking lot.

According to Richmond RCMP, a gold-coloured Pixiu (貔貅) statue was turned over to police on April 21.

The statue was apparently found in a parking lot near Lansdowne Centre at the 5300 block of No. 3 Road.

Pixiu, a Chinese mythical creature, is a symbol of good fortune and protection in Chinese culture.

If you believe this statue belongs to you, contact Richmond RCMP at 604-278-1212 and quote file number 2024-12412. Anyone contacting the police will need to provide a detailed description of the statue.
