A driver took the meaning of drive-thru to a new, dangerous level on Tuesday when careening through the brick wall in a parking lot on Blundell and No. 3 roads.
Richmond RCMP said the crash, which closed the business in question, happened after the driver allegedly lost control entering the parking lot of the 7-11 store, hit a rubber curb, which then launched the vehicle into the building. One of the three employees inside the store was taken to Richmond Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The 7-11 remained closed Tuesday afternoon and police are interviewing witnesses to determine what happened.
