The Family Fun Festival at Garry Point Park this weekend will not, in fact, take place this Saturday.
The event - a celebration of music, community, philanthropy and food - is still scheduled to take place later this fall, but the organizers are still waiting for some paperwork to be completed first. Meanwhile, the coalition of the Bavubuka Foundation and the Joining Hearts Foundation, who are behind the event, are still on the lookout for volunteers.
