The price of gas is on the move once more – and yet again it’s bad news for drivers in Richmond.
According to GasBuddy.com, some stations in Richmond were charging 203.9 cents a litre for regular on Monday morning.
That’s up around five cents from before the long weekend, just as prices seemed to be stabilizing somewhat after the surge since Russia invaded Ukraine more than a month ago.
GasBuddy is reporting that the Chevrons on Westminster Highway and at No. 5 Road and the Petro Canada on Francis Road were among those charging the 203.9 on Monday.
Where is the cheapest gas in Richmond?
The cheapest gas on Monday morning in Richmond was, yet again, at Super Save on No. 5 and Westminster at 196.9 cents a litre.
Analysis on GasBuddy shows prices in Vancouver over the weekend were almost 50 cents a litre higher than the same day just one year ago.
There are also loud rumblings back East in Ontario, where prices jumped 23 cents over just a couple of days, nearing the $2-range.
