Highway 99 at the Steveston Interchange in Richmond will be closed on Wednesday night for construction.
The full highway closure will start at 11 p.m. on July 12 and re-open by 5 a.m. on July 13.
North and southbound traffic will be detoured over the existing Steveston Highway on and off-ramps during the construction.
The highway closure is necessary because crew will be moving heavy machinery across the highway for the new five-lane Steveston Interchange project, according to the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.
