More Canada Line disruptions coming to Richmond

Service will end early, starting next week, between Bridgeport and Brighouse stations for work on the new Capstan station

The Canada Line service in Richmond will be stopping early, starting next week, for more construction on the new Capstan station.

From April 11 to May 12, service from Bridgeport to Brighouse will end at 9:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, to allow construction crews to continue work on the new station just north of Aberdeen.

TransLink said it will mainly affect customers travelling to and from Bridgeport, Aberdeen, Lansdowne, and Brighouse stations.

An extra bus service will be available between Bridgeport and Brighouse stations to provide customers with alternative service. Buses will stop at each impacted station and run approximately every 10 minutes.
