Power was out for a giant area near the Richmond Olympic Oval on Nov. 19.

A power outage in the Olympic Oval and city centre area in Richmond that affected more than 3,000 BC Hydro customers on Tuesday evening appears to have been resolved.

Another pocket of about 85 customers, however, are without power as of 9:45 p.m.

These customers are east of No. 1 Road, south of Westminster Highway, north of Granville Avenue and west of McCallan Road.

According to BC Hydro's outage map, a crew is on site and it's estimated to be resolved by 11:05 p.m.

City of Richmond announced Minoru Centre for Active Living and nearby facilities are also closed due to the outage.

There are power outages across the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island due to the windstorm.
