If you're finding yourself sitting in your car trying to leave or enter Richmond this afternoon, you aren't the only one.
Several collisions are causing major traffic delays along Highway 91, Highway 99 and on the Alex Fraser Bridge on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Twitter posts, a collision on Highway 91 northbound, just north of Alex Fraser Bridge, is causing traffic delays for people leaving Delta. Northbound traffic is currently backed up to Nordel Way.
In a separate incident, a collision just before the S-curve on Highway 91 is also causing traffic delays in the westbound direction. Westbound traffic is backed up to Westminster Highway.
Meanwhile, the collision on Highway 99 at the George Massey Tunnel has been cleared with both northbound and southbound counterflow lanes open. However, there are still delays in the area.
Southbound Highway 99 traffic is backed up to Highway 91 on-ramp, and northbound Highway 99 traffic is backed up to HIghway 17.
