If you’ve been wondering why there’s heavier delays than usual on No. 6 Road during the morning rush hour lately, there’s a very good reason.
Several commuters have been commenting on social media about long line-ups on No. 6 Road heading north towards Westminster Highway.
The Richmond News asked the City of Richmond what was going on and we were told the delays were due to a city contractor conducting traffic signal maintenance work at the intersection of Westminster and No. 6.
The work began yesterday Wednesday, said a city spokesperson, and is expected to be completed by the end of the week.
