An individual was found dead on the patio of a Richmond apartment building on Sunday afternoon.
Richmond RCMP responded to the 5000 block of Hollybridge Way, near Lansdowne Road and Pearson Way, for a person found "lying unresponsive" on a second-story patio, according to Cpl. Adriana O'Malley, spokesperson for Richmond RCMP.
Police accessed the patio from the outside of the building with the help of Richmond Fire-Rescue by using a ladder and discovered the person had already passed away.
Richmond RCMP worked with the BC Coroners Service on the investigation.
"Based on the investigation, Richmond RCMP has determined there is no criminality in this matter," said O'Malley.
