Most of Richmond woke up to about an inch of snow this Monday morning, although it was much heavier deeper into Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
There are a few reports on social media of streets unplowed, but most of the major intersections on the City of Richmond’s traffic cameras look relatively clear.

City spokesperson Clay Adams told the Richmond News this morning that crews worked overnight to plow and de-ice roads.
"Sunday began with five trucks and a further three were called in around 3 a.m.," Adams added.
"The forecast was for snow to end around 9 a.m. with only a few centimetres expected. The priority is to keep arterial roads and transit routes clear by de-icing and/or plowing. We then move to secondary routes and residential streets as needed."
There are no reports of any major incidents on the roads or any tail-backs, as of 7:30 a.m.
The overnight snow is expected to turn to rain by 11 a.m. in Richmond, according to Environment Canada.
