Two motorcycles crashed on a local makeshift trail near SilverCity Riverport Cinema last Sunday (Aug. 12) afternoon, according to a witness.
The makeshift trail near Dyke and Triangle roads is “frequented by people on motor bikes and ATVs (all-terrain vehicles),“ said witness Shane Mackichan.
He said a male who looked like he was in his 20s crashed and suffered serious injuries, and that afterwards an air ambulance landed in the parking lot of the Richmond Ice Centre, airlifting the victim to Vancouver General Hospital.
The Richmond RCMP said it did not receive any reports in regards to the "potential incident" and does not have any information about it.
