"When you help someone, you help everyone.”
That was the theme of the Richmond Jets’ Pink Shirt Day 2022.
The youth hockey organization sold an incredible 620 pink T-shirts for the national day of recognition on Wednesday, proceeds of which will go to the Kids Help Phone charity.
According to the club, “diversity is becoming more visible than ever as people continue to embrace their cultures, identities, and true selves in more open and direct ways; making the need to help each other out and lift each other up.
“It’s more important than ever to have greater acceptance, respect, and inclusion for everyone.”
