Motorists travelling between East Richmond and New Westminster will need to make a detour on Tuesday afternoon.
A police incident has Boundary Road, between Ewen Avenue and Dyke Road, blocked off, according to a Twitter post.
Traffic near the Hamilton Transit Centre, at Westminster Highway and Boundary Road, is also slow due to the road closure.
Southbound traffic on Boundary Road is backed up to Westminster Highway with eastbound and westbound traffic on Westminster Highway and Boyd St., respectively.
