Four Richmond RCMP vehicles were spotted outside Walmart Supercentre on Alderbridge Way on Tuesday morning.
According to Cpl. Adriana O'Malley, Richmond RCMP Media spokesperson, police were attending to a loss prevention officer's complaint that a woman had allegedly shoplifted and left on foot.
RCMP officers found the woman outside the store and arrested her. Items allegedly stolen from the store were found and recovered during the search.
The investigation remains active and ongoing, said O'Malley.
