Community members are invited to enjoy a fun day at Shelter Island Marina and support a good cause.
The largest dry dock in B.C. is raising funds for the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue by hosting Shelter Island Marina Day next Saturday.
At the heart of the event is a massive swap meet, which costs $20 for a spot, as well as boatyard tours.
Visitors will also get to enjoy a free outdoor BBQ and beer garden serving hotdogs, hamburgers and chips, as well as free coffee sponsored by local businesses.
Shelter Island Marina Day will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 23.
