Lucky 9 Lanes has rebranded at Splitsville after being bought last year by a U.K.-based company.

A Halloween-themed “Charity Bowl or Treat” event is being held in Richmond on Oct. 20.

The event will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Splitsville Richmond Riverport Unit at 150-14200 Entertainment Blvd., located near No. 6 Road and Steveston Highway.

The event will feature various activities for attendees, such as a bowling tournament, costume contest, candies, face painting, pizza, prizes and more.

Organizers Cheryl Kwok and Cadence Lui told the Richmond News Funds from the Halloween event will benefit B.C. Children's Hospital Foundation.

The Richmond location is one of the two centres Splitsville owns in the province.

The location was previously called Lucky 9 Lanes. It was bought by a U.K.-based company called Hollywood Bowl Group last year.

The entertainment centre offers bowling, arcade, food and drinks, in addition to mini golf at select locations.
