Elections Canada has finalized the candidate lists, and both Richmond Centre and Steveston-Richmond East have five candidates each.
Both incumbent Conservative MPs, Alice Wong in Richmond Centre and Kenny Chiu in Steveston-Richmond East are running for re-election.
Challenging Wong are current school board chair Sandra Nixon, running for the NDP, Wilson Miao who is the Liberal candidate, Green candidate Laura Gillanders and James Hinton, who is the People’s Party of Canada (PPC) candidate.
In Steveston-Richmond East, Parm Bains is the Liberal candidate, Jack Trovato is the NDP candidate, Francoise Raunet is running for the Greens and Jennifer Singh is the PPC candidate.
The federal election is on Sept. 20.
