Richmond's No. 5 Road has re-opened after it was closed off due to a blazing fire on Saturday.
No. 5 Road, north of Seacliff Road and south of King Road, as well as Williams Road, east of Seacote Road, was temporarily closed off due to the fire, according to Richmond RCMP in a media statement.
According to Twitter posts, Richmond Fire-Rescue was seen attempting to contain a fire at Mylora Golf Course.
The fire was allegedly spreading from "old grownover Mylora West golf course maintenance barn," said Graeme Wood in a tweet.
"It has Lingyen Temple staff concerned they've turned on sprinklers and are dousing nearby hedge," Wood added.
Richmond News has reached out to Richmond Fire-Rescue for more details.
