As of Friday, the Forever Young Club had raised more than $2,000 for the Richmond Food Bank, and they're not stopping fundraising efforts until Christmas Eve.
Their goal is $3,500 and they're appealing for donations over the next week to hit this target.
"Thank you very much to our 28 club donors... but we can't stop now," the Forever Young Club said in a release, noting last year they raised $4,000.
They're encouraging people to click on the Canada Helps website to donate to the Richmond Food Bank on behalf of the Forever Young Club.
Forever Young is a club for retired people that encourages active lifestyles and social interaction.
