One of Richmond’s most iconic summer events is coming back with an official reopening date.
Richmond Night Market, close to the Bridgeport Canada Line Station, will kick off July 23, with reduced capacity due to COVID-19 protocols.
“As we progress through the summer, we will be gradually adding more vendors and a larger number of visitors as health guidelines allow,” read the market’s press release.
The market runs each Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Sept. 6 and is open from 6 p.m. until midnight.
Earlier this spring, the Richmond News reported how the market had been given permission from city council to reopen this year - depending on provincial health orders.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the market.
