A Richmond pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Monday afternoon.
The 45-year-old female was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Bridgeport Road and Simpson Road around 3:30 p.m.
Paramedics were called and arrived shortly afterwards at the scene.
“The woman suffered minor injuries and was transferred to a local hospital,” said Cpl. Adriana Peralta, spokesperson for Richmond RCMP.
“The driver was cooperative and remained at the scene after the incident.”
There were reports of traffic delays in the area at the time.
