Richmond RCMP is asking the public for information, following the discovery of two burning vehicles in the early hours of Tuesday.
Shortly before 1 a.m., a Richmond RCMP officer noticed two vehicles burning at a construction site in the 8500 block of No. 5 Road, just south of Blundell Road.
Fire crews attended soon afterwards and put out the flames that were raging through two pick-up trucks – a blue Ford F150 and a white Dodge 1500.
Both vehicles were later towed from the scene for further investigation by both the fire department and Richmond RCMP.
Anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area immediately prior to the incident is asked to call Richmond RCMP at 604-278-1212.
