Richmond RCMP makes second appeal for missing Indigenous woman

Missing woman is known to frequent downtown Vancouver

Richmond RCMP is requesting the public’s help for the second time to locate a missing 36-year-old woman.

Kari Anne Stiele-Jules's whereabouts are still unknown after police followed up on several leads – one including a tip of a possible sighting in the downtown Vancouver area of West Pender and Bute streets on Oct.17.

Stiele-Jules is described as an Indigenous female, five feet five inches tall with brown eyes and long brown hair.

She is known to frequent downtown Vancouver and was last seen wearing a dark purple scarf, a white t-shirt, a black jacket, grey sweatpants and black shoes.

Based on previous investigation, RCMP believes Stiele-Jules may be wearing a veil and head covering. 

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Stiele-Jules is asked to contact local police or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) and quote Richmond RCMP file number 2024-26653.
