And what an easy and enjoyable way for Richmond residents to make a contribution to two great causes. Just put away the pots and pans and head out the door with friends and family for a great meal.
When you dine out on March 7 you are putting food on the plates of many British Columbians, according to Sheena Sargeant, executive director of Friends For Life.
A couple spending $80 at a Dining Out For Life restaurant will provide a three course meal for seven people at Friends For Life in warm and welcoming environment, she added.
Almost 200 other B.C. restaurants have rallied behind Dining Out For Life and participants have contributed more than $3 million in the past 18 years and have literally provided hundreds of thousands meals through their generosity.
