A Richmond non-profit society is offering up a sumptuous Christmas dinner to go, for those wanting to avoid the hassle on Dec. 25.
If you place your order by the end of Tuesday, Dec. 15 the Minoru Seniors Society, which runs the cafeteria at the Minoru Centre for Active Living, will serve up turkey and all the trimmings (plus dessert) without the clean-up.
On the menu is roasted turkey, garlic mashed potatoes, sausage stuffing, bacon Brussel sprouts, cranberry sauce, gravy and a slice of apple pie.
Place your order by Dec. 15 online at Richmond.ca or by phone at 604-276-4300 (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
You will then be asked to pick up your order on Tuesday, Dec. 22 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. from the seniors centre (access via the west cafeteria doors).
Cost is $25 per person and the order number to use online is #53148.

The cafeteria is also selling Christmas baked goods up until Dec. 16 b the same method as above, with a pick-up day of Wednesday, Dec. 23 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
