Richmond speeder's car impounded for going 139 km/hr

Richmond RCMP caught a driver going 139 kilometres per hour.

A car was caught by police on Westminster Highway “speeding into the sunset,” resulting in a hefty fine and a vehicle impound.

Richmond RCMP caught the driver going 139 kilometres per hour in a 50 kilometre per hour zone.

 

This netted the driver a $483 fine and the car was impounded for seven days, according to a post on X from the Richmond RCMP.

“Our officers are committed to keeping our roads safe!” Richmond RCMP tweeted out.
