Stores Magic Queen Cosmetics and Cube Inc. have been selling eye drops with neostigmine methylsulfate, which is known to cause side effects such as blurred vision, headaches, twitching lids, cataracts, allergic reactions, iris cysts and many more.

Two stores in Aberdeen Centre mall have been found by Health Canada to be selling unauthorized eye drops that contain a drug that has since been banned from the Canadian market due to its serious side effects.

The stores — Magic Queen Cosmetics and Cube Inc. — have been selling eye drops with neostigmine methylsulfate, which is known to cause side effects such as blurred vision, headaches, twitching lids, cataracts, allergic reactions, iris cysts and many more.

Health Canada stated it has seized the products, which include:

-Nano Eye

-Digi Eye

-Super Cool Pit

-Sante Neo FX

-Z!

Note that health products authorized by Health Canada have an eight digit Drug Identification Pin (DIN) or a Natural product Number (NPN).
