Richmond synagogue hosts post-terror community dinner

The Bayit synagogue in south Richmond hosted a community dinner on Friday, in solidarity with the Jewish community dealing with the recent terror attack on a synagogue in Poway, California.

More than 100 people came to stand in support of the Jewish Community.

Included in the evening was a moving story about surviving a terror attack, by Sarah-Ester Varnai.

The event was attended by a number of local dignitaries, including councillors Bill McNulty, Kelly Greene and Alexa Loo, MLAs Linda Reid and Teresa Wat, MP Joe Peschisolido and RCMP Supt. Will Ng.
