Richmond children and teens can swim, skate, golf and work out all summer for just $29.
The city is once again offering a Summer Active Pass to several city-owned facilities from Watermania to West Richmond Pitch and Putt.
Passes for kids aged five to 18 will go on sale on June 6, and are available at all participating facilities.
The pass is valid from June 10 to Sept. 4 and can be used for any drop-in sessions. This year, the city is also allowing youth aged 13 and older to attend drop-in fitness classes and work out at fitness centres.
Participating facilities include the Minoru Centre for Active Living, Watermania, South Arm and Steveston Outdoor Pools, Richmond Ice Centre (public skating only), West Richmond Pitch and Putt (Monday-Thursday, noon to 4 p.m., excluding holidays) and seven community centres: City Centre, Cambie, Hamilton, South Arm, Steveston, Thompson and West Richmond.
The pass, however, doesn’t cover renting skates and golf equipment.
