Scheduled power outages in Richmond for Feb. 22 to Mar. 1

Richmond residents in multiple areas will experience power outages as BC Hydro has scheduled repair and replacement work from Feb. 22 to Mar. 1 .

BC Hydro plans regular power outages to perform work on equipment or power lines that require them to be de-energized, according to the its website.

“By planning the outage and doing the necessary work, our crews can prevent a potential unplanned emergency outage in the future, where a part of the system unexpectedly fails or malfunctions,” said BC Hydro on its site.

Here is the list of power outages scheduled for the upcoming week:

Feb. 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 19 customers at:

  • 4270, 4291, 4300, 4311, 4320, 4331, 4340, 4351, 4360, 4371, 4380, 4391, 4400, 4411, 4420, 4431, 4440, 4479 Colchester Dr.
  • 4251 Coventry Dr.

Feb. 22  from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect seven customers at:

  • 9091, 9093, 9097, 9099, 9131, 9135, 9160 Steveston Hwy.

Feb. 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 20 customers at:

  • 3851 Blundell Rd.

Feb. 23 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect five customers at:

  • 9111 No 5 Rd. Units 34 to 39

Feb. 24 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. 

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 83 customers at:

  • 7100 Gilbert Rd.
  • 7040 Granville Ave.

Feb. 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 18 customers at:

  • 9720 to 9775 Sealily Pl.
  • 11160 to 11251 Seaport Ave.

Feb. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect eight customers at:

  • 10191 to 10311 Fundy Dr.

Feb. 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

A pole replacemennt will affect less than five customers at:

  • 6111, 6131, 6151 Bassett Rd.

Feb. 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect less than five customers at:

  • 9100 Steveston Hwy.

Feb. 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect less than five customers at:

  • 7031 Westminster Hwy.

Mar. 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

A pole replacement will affect less than five customers at:

  • 6680 No. 6 Rd.
