Richmond residents in multiple areas will experience power outages as BC Hydro has scheduled repair and replacement work from Nov. 16 to 20.
BC Hydro plans regular power outages to perform work on equipment or power lines that require them to be de-energized, according to the its website.
“By planning the outage and doing the necessary work, our crews can prevent a potential unplanned emergency outage in the future, where a part of the system unexpectedly fails or malfunctions,” said BC Hydro on its site.
Here is the list of power outages scheduled for this week:
Nov. 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect less than five customers at:
- 5411 Steveston Hwy.
Nov. 16 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 15 customers at:
- 11291 7th Ave. Units 27 to 34 and 43 to 49.
Nov. 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 14 customer at:
- 10291, 10300, 10311, 10320, 10331, 10340, 10360, 10380, 10400, 10420, 10440, 10451 and 10460 Algonquin Dr.
Nov. 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 12 customers at:
- 4651, 4671, 4691, 4711, 4731, 4751 and 4771 Cabot Dr.
- 7080, 7091, 7100, 7111 and 7120 Parry St.
Nov. 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (rescheduled from Oct. 22)
Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect less than five customers at:
- 23111 Garripie Ave.
Nov. 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect less than five customers at:
- 7011 River Pky.
Nov. 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 15 customers at:
- 4200, 4220, 4240, 4260, 4271, 4280, 4291, 4300, 4311, 4320, 4331, 4340, 4351, 4371 and 4391 Coventry Dr.
- 11400 to 11571 Seaport Ave.
Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (rescheduled from Nov. 5)
Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 50 customers at:
- 6679, 6680, 6691, 6699, 6711, 6719, 6720, 6731, 6739, 6740, 6751, 6759 and 6760 Azure Rd.
- 6031 to 6460 Nadine Cres.
