A few weeks ago, we were basking in full sun and temperatures in the high teens during record-breaking weather.
Next Monday night, through to Wednesday, however, Environment Canada is forecasting a 40 to 60 per cent chance of, wait for it, snow flurries at its weather station at Vancouver International Airport.
Temperatures, according to the government agency, are set to dip below freezing overnight early next week.
And with precipitation in the air, all roads lead to the dreaded first snowfall of the year in Richmond and the Lower Mainland, which invariably causes chaos on the roads for drivers not used to dealing with the white stuff.
Any chance of flurries is expected to turn to rain by the end of next week.
