Students and school staff in Richmond are getting a day off on Jan. 17 because of the snowy weather.
The Richmond School District announced on Wednesday morning that all its public schools will be closed for the day due to the snow.
The district's board office and daycares will also be closed as well.
Kwantlen Polytechnic University has also issued a notice that all its campuses including in Richmond will be closed to all in-person classes.
