The first sockeye of the season has landed on the docks at Steveston.
After a small three-hour window for local fishermen to cast their nets, the sockeye returned to Steveston Harbour on the weekend.
One of the first boats to come back in, belonged to Cuc Phan, left, and Tien Ngo, who were quick to get their fresh catch on the market.
