A gas leak in Richmond city centre, which shut down part of No. 3 Road this weekend, has been repaired.
Fortis BC was notified of a possible gas leak on No. 3 Road around 5 p.m. Saturday night, according to a spokesperson for the gas utility. No one was evacuated.
No. 3 Road was shut down between Saba Road and Westminster Highway until late Sunday afternoon while crews worked to identify and repair the leak. The road is now open to traffic.
Richmond RCMP and fire-rescue were also on scene Saturday night.
