Motorists leaving Richmond via Highway 91 will need to plan extra time during rush hour on Wednesday afternoon.
According to a Twitter post, an earlier vehicle incident on Highway 91 at No. 7 Road in the eastbound direction has since been cleared. The vehicle has since been moved to the right shoulder, but traffic delays continue.
Eastbound traffic on Highway 91 is backed up past Jacombs Road and spilling onto the on-ramp from southbound Knight Street Bridge.
Westminster Highway in the eastbound direction is also seeing some heavy traffic as motorists are presumably trying to avoid traffic on Highway 91.
