Ladner's Landing Facebook group member Tilly Tung shared this video of an icy Boundary Bay online during last week's cold snap.

"That was just amazing," Tung said in a message to the Optimist, adding, "it felt like I could walk on the ice to reach the other end, Blaine, USA."
Another local Facebook user, Dave Clou, had shared photos of Boundary Bay last week as well.
"Boundary Bay looked like the Arctic today," the post read.
