Richmondites were able to witness a rare summer lightning show on Sunday night after a blistering hot day.
Temperatures hit 28 degrees Celsius on Sunday afternoon, after which some clouds rolled in, followed by thunder and lightning and traces of rain.
Several Richmondites took to Twitter with photos and videos of the lightning.

Environment Canada is forecasting another few days of warm temperatures with highs Monday around 24 degrees Celsius.
Sunny skies will continue until Wednesday, but on Thursday, showers are expected to set in, continuing until Saturday.
On Sunday, Environment Canada is forecasting a mix of sun and cloud for Richmond.
