Motorists are advised to avoid driving westbound on Granville Avenue starting at Garden City Road.
Photos submitted to the Richmond News show a motorcyclist involved in an accident that closed Granville Avenue on Thursday afternoon during rush hour.
Richmond RCMP, BC Emergency Health Services and Richmond Fire-Rescue are on scene to investigate the motor vehicle accident at the intersection.
Police released the advisory at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
