DJs, Aussie cakes and pies and an American BBQ coming up over next few days at Steveston World Cup Village

Thirty-two businesses in Steveston have adopted a nation for the World Cup of soccer and are hosting a National Day each day.

HONDURAS: Meow & Bark Avenue: National Day: June 21: DJ playing all day; facepainting; kids' tattoos & stickers; games for dogs, prizes; spend $25 and enter draw for Honduras jersey.

AUSTRALIA: Bell's Bake Shop: National Day: June 22: I'm baking Lemington cakes, Anzac biscuits; Aussie meat pies; passion fruit cupcakes and maybe some Aussie music (didgeridoo) outside!

USA: Stevston Village Maternity: National Day: June 22: Going to have a BBQ outside with hot dogs and we're any red, white or discounting blue apparel for the day.

* Most participants have Steveston World Cup Village t-shirts for sale at $15.

* Vote for your favourite business in the Richmond News Best Dressed Pavilion competition at Richmond-news.com or download the Steveston App from the QR code displayed in the window of each participating business.

* Steveston World Cup Village passports are available at most participanting businesses; where children can go around each pavilion “stamping” their passports with a specially made sticker relating to that country.
