There’s some good news this week for plane spotters: Vancouver International Airport has reopened its South Terminal viewing platform.
The airport announced the news over social media Tuesday, and reminded people to practice social distancing when they visit.
According to Spotterguide.net, a website dedicated to plane spotting, visitors can watch all South Terminal traffic, including departures and arrivals, from the elevated platform.
The viewing platform is adjacent to the South Terminal building on Cowley Crescent, and free parking is available for those who visit it.
The platform can also be reached via public transit.
