A Richmond high school student and her team took home gold at the BC Summer Games.
Arielle Tuazon-Cabido, who was the only Richmond player from the Richmond United Soccer Club on her team, won gold at the games that took place in Prince George this year.
The 14-year-old played alongside her teammates on the Vancouver Coastal Girls soccer team in Prince George and won 8-1 over the Thompson-Okanagan team.
Out of a total of four games, Tuazon-Cabido scored a goal in the first, second and the gold medal rounds.
